(97.1 The Ticket) Having a CBS email really has its benefits. This morning when I got into work, I got a video sent to my email without any subject matter.

When I opened it, I found video gold. A Michigan State police officer was passed out in his car right in Southfield. The time stamp from this video was from 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, and we were able to confirm the location.

Should this cop be sleeping in his car in a public parking lot? Is he on duty?

We sent the video to Lt. Michael Shaw with the Michigan State Police and he quickly got to the bottom of it. Shaw told us he was "deeply disappointed" about the incident and said the trooper in question had been disciplined.
