Collecting memorabilia has been a downfall of mine. It’s fun, sure, but it’s also a downfall because of the cost of items.

The big-ticket items are game-used items. At Comerica Park you can buy the uniforms the players wore, game used bases, bats — All the items you could possibly want.

Items that are a little harder to come by, in my opinion, are golf items. You might get lucky and get a glove after a player hit you with a ball… but to actually get a golf ball from a high-profile golfer is almost impossible.

During the BMW Championship this past weekend, Rory McIlroy was walking off a hole and gave a little kid the ball he had just used — and this kid’s reaction was priceless!

Have you ever received an item straight from the player?
