Newly Opened Stretch Of I-96 Marked By Vandalism

LIVONIA (WWJ) - It hasn't been open a week and already there's vandalism. Police say someone spray-painted graffiti on the newly constructed I-96 freeway early Tuesday morning.

The perpetrator wrote on the eastound side of the wall near the Columbia Street overpass in the city of Redford.

The suspect used red paint and wrote "Dear Livonia, please take Duggan back before he sells everything."

No one has been arrested, but reportedly a male wearing a gray hoodie was seen leaving the area.
