It's over!
The Tigers were swept in the ALDS and now the speculation begins as to why. The manager made way too many mistakes, the roster was constructed almost irresponsibly and the bullpen did exactly what we thought it would do...implode. All in all the series against the Orioles was about as depressing as they come.
After Sundays 2-1 loss the Detroit clubhouse opened for the last time this season. Reliever Joba Chamberlain stood in his corner stall answering questions ranging from his contract situation to what he'll do now with baseball being over for a while?
At one point in the interview session Chamberlain sounded like former Tiger Prince Fielder. Remember Fielder's comments about his kids that angered the fan base? Yeah, Joba went down a similar path.
Just like Prince, Joba was asked to clarify. What did he say?
