Survey Wants To Know: What's Your Perception Of Detroit?

DETROIT (WWJ) - If you want to speak your mind about Detroit, head to your computer.  The Downtown Detroit Partnership wants to hear what you have to say.

The survey asks a variety of questions about your perception of Detroit.

Eric Larson is the CEO of the downtown Detroit partnership and this is what he wants to know:

"What is working, what the overall perception is," Larson told WWJ's Laura Bonnell.

The questions range from do you feel positive or negative about Detroit, is it gay friendly, walk-able, do you see a police presence during the day or at night, is panhandling a problem?

Larson says anyone can take part in the survey - adding - the more people the better.

Does he expect to be surprised by the answers?

"I hope we are surprised ... not only with some very positive feedback about where people think downtown and feel downtown is headed," added Larson. "I really do hope we are surprised with some critical and some constructive feedback."

You have until the end of the month to take the Downtown Perceptions Survey - find it [here].
