2 Charged After Heroin User's Body Found Near I-94
YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP (AP) - Authorities have filed charges against two men they say dumped the body of a dead heroin user near Interstate 94 in Washtenaw County.
A couple walking their dog found the body of 35-year-old Andrew Early in his hometown of Ypsilanti Township on Oct. 16. The site is about 3 miles east of Ypsilanti.
The Ann Arbor News says that 29-year-old Richard L. Honeycutt of Ypsilanti Township and 33-year-old Marcus A. Holman of Ypsilanti were arraigned Saturday on charges of concealing a death and other felonies.
Honeycutt and Holman remained jailed Tuesday facing a probable cause hearing Nov. 4. The Washtenaw County public defender's office says it will assign lawyers to them after Friday.
Authorities say they believe Early died after using heroin at a house in Ypsilanti.
