Police: Roseville Trick-Or-Treater Was Target Of Attempted Kidnapping

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Roseville police are looking for a man who tried to abduct a girl who had just finished trick-or-treating on Halloween night.

The 11-year old girl told police she was assaulted by the man near Eastland and Park Streets at around 8:40 p.m. Friday as she walked to a friend's house. He allegedly came up behind her, grabbed her by the back the neck and said: "you're coming with me."

The girl told police she was able to get away when her assailant took his hands off her neck.  She said the man yelled "come here" but didn't chase her as she ran to her friend's house for help.

Anyone who knows this man or who has any information about this case is asked to call Roseville police at 586-447-4483 .
