Now it appears there are vampire deer. Yep, you read that correctly.

In northeastern Afghanistan, NBC News reports that an ashmir musk deer, Moschus cupreus,was rediscovered.

According to the news story Kashmir musk deer “live in the mountains of extreme northern India and Pakistan and northern Afghanistan.”
