Traffic Alert: Weekend Road Work

DETROIT (WWJ) - It's the weekend again which means it's time for construction crews to hit the roads.

The following road work projects have been announced by MDOT. As always, some of this work may be postponed due to weather.

M-10: (Lodge Fwy) **Complete Closure Southbound**

In Wayne County, south M-10 will be closed from I-94 to I-75 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday for road repair. Also closed will be ramps to north and south I-75, Trumbull, Bagley St, Forest, Warren, and Grand River. Detour is I-94 west to I-96 east to I-75 north to M-10.

I-75:

In Monroe County, northbound I-75 between Front Street and Nadeau Road will have a double lane closure for concrete patching. The double lane closure will be in place starting at 8 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10.

I-94:

In Wayne County, east and west I-94 ramps to south M-10 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday for work on M-10. Detour uses I-96 east to I-75 north to M-10. View location.

M-1: (Woodward Ave)

In Oakland County, north and south M-1, north of Big Beaver will have intermittent closures 9-10 a.m. Saturday for utility work.

M-3: (Gratiot Ave)

In Macomb County, north M-3 from Sycamore to Martin will have one lane closed from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday for a race.

M-29:

In St. Clair County, north and south M-29 between Palms and Nook will have moving lane closures from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday for road work.

 Beginning next week:

I-94:

In Wayne County, north and south ramps to east and west I-94 will be closed intermittently from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Saturday for bridge work.

In Wayne County, east I-94 from Chene to Conner will have double lane closures from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday for road work.
