ALLEN PARK (CBS DETROIT) - Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh told the Wall Street Journal he wants to be a billionaire, but Suh hinted Wednesday that aspiration does not necessarily dictate where he will go as a free agent.

"Money's not everything," Suh said.

Pressed on the matter of how his financial goals will play into what kind of contract he seeks, Suh told reporters to ask his agent Jimmy Sexton. He also downplayed having a specific level of wealth he would like to reach.

"I don't know if it's a quest to be a billionaire," Suh said. "It's more being successful on and off the football field. First task is on the football field, and then obviously anything thereafter is icing on the cake, but I don't pride myself on only just playing football. I got my degree for a reason - plan on using it.

"I think probably the most important thing to take from that is being able to compartmentalize and understand I'm playing football right now, so that's my main focus," Suh added.

As for how close he is to becoming a billionaire, Suh again deferred to his agent.

"No clue," he said. "You've got to ask Jimmy."
