Police, Family Search For Missing 14-Year-Old Girl Who Ran Away On Christmas

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 14-year-old girl who suffers from depression and is on medication.

According to the family, Cashmere Hudson ran away from home Christmas Day because she didn't receive any gifts. She was last seen leaving her home on Grayton St. near Cadiuex and Harper on the city's east side.

Hudson suffers from depression and is under a court order not to use the internet. The teen -- according to her mom, Alesa Hudson -- has used sex sites to communicate with men in the past.

"She was talking to a guy and he wanted her to come over and she knew she couldn't," Alesa Hudson said. "She was like, 'well if I don't come, you're going to get another girl?' He told her yes, so we got into it."

Cashmere Hudson was last seen wearing pink pants and a multi-colored top. Hudson is African-American, 4-foot-10 and weighs about 170 pounds with medium complexion and black medium length straight hair. This is the fourth time that Hudson has run away.

"She got Christmas, but she didn't get what she wanted," Alesa Hudson said. "She got coats, boots, outfits -- that kind of stuff."

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 313-596-5540.
