Argument Leads To Stabbing In Warren
WARREN (WWJ) - A 23-year-old Detroit man is recovering and a 33-year-old Madison Heights man is facing charges after an argument took a violent, bloody turn.
The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. Friday at a home in the 3400 block of Michael, in a neighborhood just north of 8 Mile and Ryan roads in Warren.
Police received a call about a fight in progress and arrived in the area to find the victim flagging down officers at 9 Mile and Mound roads.
The man, who had multiple stab wounds, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. He is in critical condition, but expected to survive.
The suspect was eventually located at a different hospital, where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries, and was taken into custody without further incident.
Names of those involved were not immediately released. Police said the case will be sent to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office to determine charges.
