When a high-profile high school athlete commits to a college it has become a huge spectacle.

Five-star Carlton Bragg is one of America’s highest-rated recruits and has decided to go to the University of Kansas.

Bragg had a little bit of a problem when he made his announcement in front of friends, family — and TV cameras. He put on his Kansas hat but announced he was going to Kentucky.  Oops.

As soon as Bragg mentions Kentucky he puts his hands to his face and then says, “Kansas, I’m sorry.”

Poor kid. It just makes me wonder, though, why did he say Kentucky? I’m guessing it was nothing more than nerves.
