In the day and age where asking your favorite athlete to go to prom with you gets 10,000 retweets in a heartbeat, it makes this story that much more depressing for the Houston Astros.

All they asked for was 1,000 retweets to give away a Jose Altuve autographed baseball. It’s not like Altuve is a slouch, he won the friggen AL batting title.
