Staying with that theme, according to government contracts, our very own government reportedly spent over $500,000 on Viagra in 2014 to, shall we say “outfit” the troops.

This is crazy to me! That much money from our tax dollars just to make sure guys are able to pull the trigger whenever they want? Don’t we hear stories about soldiers needing basic equipment?

Each pill is about $25.

I would like to think that our troops take a boxer’s mentality and maybe refrain from sex for a little while, like when they’re fighting a war.

The Pentagon issued 60 contracts worth$504,816 for the drug in 2014. All 60 contracts were awarded to Cardinal Health Inc., a pharmaceutical distribution company based in Dublin, Ohio.

Last year DoD also ordered $3,505 worth of Levitra, and $14,540 of Cialis, other popular erectile dysfunction drugs.

The contracts were filed under “Troop Support.”
