BRIGHTON (WWJ) — Authorities in Brighton say a woman was killed in a fire that heavily damaged her mobile home during the bitter cold early Sunday morning.

Neighbors identified the victim as 75-year-old Donna Bingham. Brighton Area Fire Chief Michael O’Brian says firefighters needed to rotate frequently while they battled the blaze because it was about negative seven degrees in the area.
