PONTIAC (WWJ) -- The Oakland County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 42 year-old Pontiac man for allegedly pouring lighter fluid on a his girlfriend and threatening to set her on fire.

Deputies were called to the North Hill Farms Apartment Complex near the Dixie Hwy. and N. Telegraph Rd. in Pontiac regarding a domestic dispute on Sunday around 9:30 p.m. The woman disconnected several times before the police arrived and were able to locate the victim outside of her apartment.

The woman, 40, said that her boyfriend -- who was highly intoxicated -- poured lighter fluid on her and threatened to light her on fire.
