Fox Hills Gets Ready For Golf Season With New 10,000 Square Foot Training Facility

PLYMOUTH (WWJ) -- With the long winter now mostly behind us, many are looking forward to getting back out on the golf course. One local golf course is getting ready for the big rush this summer with a new state of the art complex.

Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center has offered the most holes of golf that can be played on a single course in Southeast Michigan for a while now, but they can add another impressive mark to their resume, as they now own the only 10,000 square foot training center in Michigan.

The project took over six months to complete and now allows players to get the most accurate look at their golf swing with foot pressured mats, 3D motion analysis and launch monitors.

"Having a state of the art facility and short game practice area is a dream come true. We are fortunate and very grateful for the commitment of our owners to build a facility that will be one of the finest in the Midwest," Director of Instruction and PGA Pro Jordan Young said. "The expansion was necessary as our business has outgrown our existing structure. The new design will allow for a more intimate experience for our clients with software solutions that facilitate proper learning and development."

It also contains a putting studio, a short game area with three green complexes, bunkers and teaching areas that will be available in June. If that isn't enough get golfer excited, there will also be a brand new massage area.

More information can be found at the center's website.
