UCF WR Breshad Perriman jumped all the way up to No. 9 on Mel Kiper's NFL Draft "Big Board" of the top 25 NFL prospects.

The Lions hosted Perriman for a pre-draft visit on Wednesday. The 6 foot 2 inch tall, 212 pound WR is also the son of former Detroit Lions WR Brett Perriman.

Breshad made headlines at his pro day last week when he ran a 4.22 forty yard dash. One scout even clocked him at a stunning 4.15.

Perriman had 50 catches for 1,044 yards and 9 TDs as a Junior for the UCF Knights last season.

Here is Mel Kiper's analysis on Perriman and why he went from unrated, to the 9th best NFL prospect:

Analysis: A big receiver with the explosiveness off the line and deep speed of a player who typically comes in a smaller package, no player has moved up more on my board since the season. Perriman can make the big play both with his ability to win on contested throws by beating defenders in the air with size and strength, and with the ability to turn short catches into big plays by running past tacklers and through contact. He's raw in terms of some of the finer points but he could put up big numbers early on if he gets his share of targets.
