Prince To Play Pop-Up Concert In Detroit This Thursday; Tickets On Sale Monday
DETROIT (WWJ) - Listen up Prince fans: The iconic superstar is playing a show in Detroit this week!
The impromptu concert -- which takes place Thursday, April 9 -- was announced Friday night.
A venue for the concert has not yet been disclosed, but it will be revealed when tickets go on sale starting at noon Monday on Livenation.com.
Detroit will be the second stop of Prince's 2015 "Hit & Run" Tour -- a pop-up show model with each show announced one-by-one, just days ahead of time.
Thursday's show will be the 56-year-old singer's first in 11 years in the Motor City. He'll be accompanied by 3rdEyeGirl -- his all-female band.
