Taylor Man With Alzheimer's Disease Found After He Was Missing Since Tuesday

TAYLOR (WWJ) - Taylor police asked for help from the public in locating a man missing since early Tuesday.

And after an extensive search, he was found Wednesday walking in Dearborn Heights and returned to his family.

Prior to that, Timoth Collins, 56, was last seen at his home at 11:30 a.m. on Bailey Street in Taylor. Family members tell police he suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

He was last seen wearing a Notre Dame baseball cap, a Detroit Lions varsity style coat and black pants.

Collins is about 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 170 pounds. He wears glasses and has a mustache.

He is wearing a medical bracelet indicating his medical condition.
