DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are hoping the public can help find a 15-year-old Detroit girl — now missing for a week.

Callie Collier was last seen by her mother in the 3000 block of E. Lafayette on Thursday, April 16.

The mom said her daughter has had an "ongoing confrontation" with some neighborhood kids who "have been threatening to jump her."

Callie is described as a black female, around 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 135 lbs., with a light complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing black and white jeans, a black jacket and black fringe boots.

Callie has a temper and also is violent, police said, and has been known to use drugs and alcohol.

Anyone who has seen Callie is asked to call the Detroit Police Departments 7th Precinct Detectives Unit at 313-596-1140.
