Kid Rock Adds 2 More Shows To Concert Series In August

CLARKSTON - Tickets to the first series of Kid Rock concerts this summer sold out in minutes when they first went on sale.

Now Kid Rock is adding two more shows to his historic run of shows at the DTE Energy Music Theatre.

The shows will take place on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, with tickets going on sale May 2 at 10 a.m.

These shows shatter previous ticket sale records for the state of Michigan, previously held by Garth Brooks (approximately 107,000 tickets, with Kid Rock expected to sell over 145,000) and the record held by his good friend Bob Seger, for most shows played in a row at the venue.

Tickets for the show are $20 from the front to the back, with capped charges on service fees ensuring that tickets will stay under $30 including parking in most every market.

Rock's 31-city tour is scheduled to kick off June 24 in Hartford, Conn.

Tickets once again will be on sale at The Palace of Auburn Hills Box Office and Walmart with no fees, as well as at Ticketmaster with applicable fees.
