Where Is Jessica Heeringa? Vigil Marks 2 Years Since Her Disappearance

NORTON SHORES (WWJ/AP) - A vigil in a small town marked the two year anniversary of a young mother's disappearance from her job at a gas station.

Volunteers gathered Sunday for prayers and to post fliers in the continued search for Jessica Heeringa.

Heeringa disappeared April 26 before she was set to close the station in Norton Shores. Police think she was taken against her will by someone she likely knew. Police said there was no indication of a robbery, as Heeringa's purse, vehicle and other items were left behind at the scene. DNA testing showed a small amount of blood found outside the gas station belonged to Heeringa.

Tips poured in as investigators released a description of a silver minivan and a man seen in the area after her 2013 disappearance.

Heeringa, who has a young son, was 25 years old at the time she went missing.
