One Dead In Drive-By Shooting On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a fatal drive-by shooting Friday on the city's east side.
It happened at around 1:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Hayes and Houston Whittier.
A witness told WWJ Newsradio 950's Russ McNamara that a tan-colored SUV pulled up alongside a light blue Crown Victoria, and that's when someone in the SUV started shooting.
One occupant of the Crown Victoria was killed, and the vehicle was left with shattered windows and flat tires.
No information was immediately released about the victim or a possible motive as an investigation continues.
