Detroit Police Search For Missing Teen Who Walked Away From Medical Clinic

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help in locating a 16-year-old girl who vanished after walking away from a medical clinic.

Tiaona Evans was last seen around 2:10 p.m. Friday at the Woodward Corridor Family Health Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, just east of the Lodge Freeway.

Police say Tiaona has some mental health issues and is on medication. She was being examined at the medical clinic when she left on foot -- and hasn't been seen since.

Tiaona is described as a black female with a medium complexion, 5'3" tall and 150 lbs. with black shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, black leggings and black gym shoes.

Anyone with information on Tiaona's whereabouts is urged to contact police at 313-267-4600.
