Gov. Snyder Rings New York Stock Exchange Bell This Morning

(WWJ) Gov. Rick Snyder is scheduled to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange this morning.

He's in New York capping a two-day trip to promote Michigan and talk about the state's economic comeback.

After ringing the bell, he plans to view trading activity for Michigan-based companies listed on the exchange.

Snyder ended any White House speculation Thursday, saying he's not running for president in 2016. The governor says his trips out of state have been to promote Michigan, not test campaign waters.
