2 Killed In Motorcycle Crash Downriver; Police Say Speed A Factor
LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) - Authorities say speed is likely to blame for a crash that killed a 20-year-old motorcyclist and a 78-year-old man.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Dix Highway, between Southfield Road and Outer Drive in Lincoln Park.
Police say a the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Dix when he collided with another vehicle, but they haven't yet indicated which driver was apparently speeding.
Both men were declared dead at the scene. Their names were not immediately released.
Michigan State Police say an investigation is ongoing.
