Couple Caught On Video Using Fraudulent Checks At Mall At Partridge Creek

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for help to identify and locate two people wanted for check fraud.

According to police, the suspects — a man and a woman — made multiple purchases using fraudulent checks based out of a Detroit business.

The pair was caught on security video in the act on Tuesday, Feb. 17, paying with the bad checks at the Nordstrom department store at The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township.

Suspect number one is described as a black female with a medium complexion. She was seen on surveillance video wearing a pink hat, pink scarf, black coat, black pants and black boots.

Suspect number two is a black male with a medium complexion, black hair, short haircut. He was wearing a black coat, dark shirt, black pants and brown shoes.

Police said the pair left the store together.
