Detroit Police Search For Woman Who Vanished On Trip To Neighborhood Park

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help in locating a 19-year-old woman who disappeared while going to a park near her home.

Police say Ronesha Holman was last seen around 3 p.m. Monday, May 25, walking away from her home in the 19400 block of Mendota, in a west side neighborhood just north of 7 Mile and Meyers roads.

According to police, Holman left her home to visit a neighborhood park and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Holman is described as an African-American female, 5'6" tall and approximated 180 pounds with long black hair worn in braids. She was last seen wearing a navy blue tank top, navy jogging pants and black flip flops.

Police say this is the first time Holman has gone missing.
