Man Claims He Was Pulled Over By Fake Cop In Oakland County
WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - There may be a police impersonator cruising the streets of Oakland County.
The Sheriff's Department is investigating an incident where a 23-year old West Bloomfield Township man was driving on southbound Duck Lake Road near Livingston Road in Highland Township Saturday night, when a vehicle approached him with a blue flashing light.
The driver pulled over and the male who approached his vehicle was not wearing a police uniform.
When the driver questioned the man, the subject claimed he was only giving a warning and then drove off in the opposite direction.
He was driving an older model Ford Crown Victoria.
