Meghan Trainor Drops Out Of Lansing Festival, Postpones Detroit Concert

DETROIT (WWJ) - Apparently pop-star Meghan Trainor's lips won't be moving.

The 21-year-old singer has canceled her appearance Tuesday at Lansing's Common Ground Music Festival due to continued treatment of hemorrhaging on her vocal chords. Ouch!

Trainor's health problems are so bad, she's also postponing Thursday's upcoming show at the Fillmore in Detroit.

The Grammy-nominated singer started canceling shows last week, saying "doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed."

It's not clear if Trainor's performance in Lansing will be rescheduled. Fans can get a refund through www.commongroundfest.com, or use their ticket for any other date at the 2015 festival.

The Detroit performance has been rescheduled for September 11. Existing tickets will be honored on that date, or fans can get a refund at their point of purchase.
