Hiring Fair Today For New Metro Detroit Rusty Bucket Restaurant

BINGHAM FARMS (WWJ) - Looking for a gig, maybe in the service industry?

The Rusty Bucket Restaurant chain is holding a big hiring fair in Oakland County on Tuesday — looking to fill about 60 positions at their newest location, opening in Bingham Farms next month.

Human Resources Manager Kristen Hinshaw said they're hiring for all kinds of openings: "Servers, bartenders, hosts or hostesses, line cooks. Anyone who has experience in fry cooking, sautée, grill or pantry — that would consist of the line cooks, bussers and general utility. That's what we call our dishwashers and people who help keep our restaurant clean."

Hinshaw said candidates with or without experience are welcome to apply.

"The great thing about our company is we spend a lot of time training, and so we will train someone even if they have never served before in their life but they have a great attitude and are looking forward to working for a great company," she said.

The hiring fair runs from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at the Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern Bingham Farms Hiring Office located at 30400 Telegraph Road, Suite 116, Bingham Farms, 48025. (248-594-2730)

Applicants are required to bring their resume, if possible, and a pen to fill out an application. Applicants will be learning about the restaurant and should be ready for open interviews with the general manager and executive chef.

Interested candidates may also submit resumes to bucketresumes@myrustybucket.com or get more information about the company at MyRustyBucket.com.

This is the fourth Rusty Bucket location in Michigan, following the opening of the third location in Northville Park Place last month.

For those hired, training beings July 28.
