REDFORD (WWJ) — Police in Redford are on the lookout for a man suspected of robbing a bank on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the Huntington Bank on Grand River and Beech Daly at around 4 p.m. to find that the bank had been robbed by a lone suspect. The suspect was armed with a handgun and was described as a black male, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, 140 to 160 pounds, with a medium complexion, mustache/goatee, wearing a black hoodie, brown shorts, and a baseball cap with a “D.”

The suspect appeared to have possible burn marks on his arms. The suspect’s vehicle is an older blue or black 4-door GM product, possibly an Oldsmobile or Buick.
