DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are reaching out to the public for help to bring a missing teen safely home.

Brittany Oliver, 15, was last seen by her mother when she left the house, in the 18300 of Shaftsbury in Detroit, at around 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Her mom says Brittany is "a repeat runaway" but has always returned home in the past.

Brittany is described as a black female, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and around 150 lbs. with a light complexion and brown hair. She was wearing a pink shirt and blue Roca Wear shorts with a logo on the rear at the time of her disappearance.

Police say she has a closed head injury which requires her to take medication, but is otherwise in good physical condition.

Anyone who has seen Brittany or who may have information on her whereabouts is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-1140.
