Tattooed 19-Year-Old Suspect Sought In Shooting Downriver
LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) - Police are searching for a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting Downriver.
Lincoln Park police say Tobias Catron is wanted for shooting a 40-year-old man in the neck on Wednesday.
The shooting happened in the 1400 block of Mayflower, off Fort Street just south of Champaign Road. According to police, Catron was involved in some type of confrontation with the man shortly before the shooting.
The man, said to be the father of Catron's female friend, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck. He's expected to recover.
Police say Catron is believed to be on foot, possibly armed and considered dangerous. He has several tattoos, including a rose on his neck and a teardrop by his eye.
