HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) – Winds were strong and waves were high when a suburban Detroit fire chief jumped into Lake St. Clair to retrieve his hat. Two days later, his body hasn’t been found.

Divers returned to the lake Sunday to search for Southfield Fire Chief Keith Rowley, who has been missing since Friday. He was on a boat with three people, off Harrison Township.
