Suspect Tells Bank Employee He's Making A Cash Withdrawal Just Before Robbery

NOVI (WWJ) - Police in Novi are searching for a suspect in connection with a robbery at the Flagstar Bank this weekend.

Authorities say on Saturday a lone man walked into the bank on 8 Mile Road and approached an employee to say he was making a cash withdrawal and then told her it was a robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, 32-37 years old, approximately 6'4"- 6'5" tall, and weighs between 200-230 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes, and a thin beard.

He then reached into the drawer and proceeded to take an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. A weapon was neither seen nor implied.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black basketball style shorts with white sides, an unidentified baseball cap, white socks and white gym shoes.
