Melvin Gordon's Mom Won't Wear His Jersey Until He Earns It

We often see wives and mothers of athletes wearing their husband/son's jersey while watching in the stands.
That's not the case for Melvin Gordon's mother.
Carmen Gordon says that her son has to earn it before she will wear his San Diego Chargers jersey.
"You've got to show me a little something, but it won't be this year," she said. "So you might see me in the stands, but I won't have the jersey on. I did the same thing in college because I just want to hear what people are saying."
Carmen Gordon said she did not wear her son's No. 25 jersey at Wisconsin until his final season at the school.
