I want to introduce you to 4-foot-5 inch tall, 95 pound running back Adam Reed of nationally ranked Plantation American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla.

Reed has become a fan favorite as the fifth string running back. Plantation American High has won back-to-back state championships so it’s not like he is playing against lackluster opponents.

Starting his senior season at 17, Reed wasn’t able to play on the JV team and had to make the varsity squad in order to play, which is just what he did.

According to the Miami Herlad:

“I’m a little undersized,” the 17-year-old senior said Tuesday after practice. “But it’s, whatever. I don’t let my size stop me from doing anything.”

I don’t know about you but I am rooting for Reed to get some playing time this season.
