As we make our way closer to the final fight of Floyd Mayweather's career, pundits from across the boxing world have weighed in with their opinion on the controversial fighter and the controversial final fight against Andre Berto on Sept. 12 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

On Wednesday Sept. 9 at 12:15 p.m., one man whose opinion is held in extremely high regard in the boxing world will be sitting down ready to answer all of your boxing questions as CBS Local Sports begins its final countdown to Mayweather-Berto.

Hall of Fame Showtime Boxing announcer Al Bernstein will be our first of three guests on our Mayweather-Berto live blog leading up to fight night.

The floor is open to ask Bernstein any questions you have about Floyd Mayweather, Andre Berto, either of their careers, or anything else pertaining to his lifetime watching the sport of boxing.

Head over to the CBS Local Sports Mayweather-Berto Live Blog and click the "comment" button to ask Al your question and he will answer the very best ones on Sept. 9 at 12:15 p.m. ET.

Bernstein joined Showtime in 2003 and has been a major part of their boxing coverage ever since. Bernstein was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012 but has continued his work ringside at the biggest fights and is one of the foremost authorities on all things boxing, and he's ready to tackle your questions.

Bryan Altman is, for some reason, an unabashed fan of the Rangers, Jets and Mets. If he absolutely had to pick a basketball team it would be the Knicks, but he’d gladly trade them for just one championship for either of his other three teams.

Questions or comments? Feel free to follow Bryan on Twitter or send him an email
