Body Of Canadian Man Pulled From Detroit River
WINDSOR (WWJ) - Emergency crews near Windsor have pulled a body from the Detroit River.
Police were called Thursday night to a canal behind a home in LaSalle, Ontario — off the Detroit River between Crystal Harbour and Bechard Beach Ave. — directly across the river from Ecorse.
There, they found the body of a man in his 60s.
Neighbors told the Windsor Star that they had been talking with the victim earlier in the day.
It's not clear yet how he died. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
The man's name was not immediate released.
