Stephen Tulloch's Kickoff Event Looks To Provide For 55 Detroit Schools
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) -- With the Detroit Lions' home opener set to take place next week at Ford Field, one Lions player is set to host a kickoff event for the game.
Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch is once again hosting an NFL kickoff event which will get underway Friday at Art Van Furniture in Royal Oak.
The event -- which is now in its fourth year -- is set up to raise money for the Stephen Tulloch Foundation and Operation 55, which helps assist families with life threatening illnesses as well as keeping 55 Detroit Public Schools up with the latest technology and books.
It also works to fulfill wish lists sent to the foundation through school teachers, principals and administration.
Tickets are just $20 online or $25 at the door which include complimentary food from area restaurants, door prizes, and allow attendees access to both a live and silent auction.
