Traffic Alert: Weekend Road Work
DETROIT (WWJ) - The weekend is here again, which means construction crews are going to be out in full force — especially on the Lodge Freeway, which will be closed from I-94 to I-75.
The following road work projects have been announced by MDOT. As always, some of this work may be postponed due to weather.
I-275:
In Wayne County, south I-275 ramp to east I-96 ramp is closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday for road work.
I-375:
In Wayne County, south I-375 ramp to Madison Avenue closed 1 a.m. through 5 a.m. Sunday for bridge work.
I-75:
In Oakland County, north and south I-75 from Clintonville to M-15 (Ortonville), two lanes closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. for construction.
In Wayne County, south I-75 from Mack to I-375, two lanes closed from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday for bridge work. Ramp from Mack Ave to south I-75 also closed.
In Wayne County, north I-75 from Springwells to Clark, two right two lane close from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for road work.
In Wayne County, north and south I-75 from Northline to Outer Drive, left lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for lighting.
In Wayne County, north and south I-75 from Outer Drive to I-96, left lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for lighting work.
In Wayne County, north and south I-75 from I-375 to I-96, left lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for lighting work.
In Wayne County, north and south Green Street over I-75, lane closure from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday for bridge work.
I-94:
In Wayne County, east and west I-94 ramps to south and south M-10 (Lodge) will be closed for road work from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
M-10: (Lodge Fwy)
In Wayne County, south M-10 from I-94 to I-75 will be closed for road work from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
In Wayne County, south M-10 ramp to north and south I-75 will be closed for road work from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

M-150: (Rochester Rd)
In Oakland County, north M-150 from Olde Towne to Tienken, right lane closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
In Oakland County, south M-150 from Olde Towne to Tienken, right lane closed from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday for construction.
In Oakland County, east and west Romeo Road at M-150, intersection closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
M-39: (Southfield Fwy)
In Wayne County, south M-39 from Chicago Boulevard to Joy Road, right lane closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday for bridge work.
US-12: (Michigan Ave)
In Wayne County, east and west US-12 from Pershing Street to Howe Road, two left lanes closed 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
US-24: (Telegraph Road)
In Wayne County, north and south US-24 from M-5 (Grand River) to I-96, two left lanes closed from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Beginning next Monday, October 5:
I-75:
In Oakland County, north I-75 from 12 Mile to Square Lake, two lanes closed nightly Monday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for maintenance.
In Wayne County, north and south I-75 from Caniff to Warren, right lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday for lighting.
In Wayne County, north and south I-75 from I-375 to I-96, right lane close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday for lighting.
I-94:
In Wayne County, east and west I-94 from I-96 to Schaefer Highway, left lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday for lighting.
I-696:
In Oakland County, east and west I-696 from Franklin to Lahser, lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday for lighting.
