Bleacher Report's Jason Cole got a lot of people riled up late Monday afternoon when he released a video saying players have told him that Lions coach Jim Caldwell has lost his team.

In the 1:10 minute video, Cole says that there were "several" Detroit Lions' players who were concerned about the connection between the team and their coach.

According to Cole, the main problem is the players didn't like Caldwell's reaction to how the game ended between the Lions and the Seahawks. The coach was roundly criticized for under reacting to a call the NFL later admitted was wrong.

Who knows if this is true; I don't know if I believe it. After the Lions' loss to the Cardinals at Ford Field Sunday evening, not one player blamed Caldwell. As a matter of fact, players were still praising him. Glover Quin acted like he couldn't have been more grateful to have Caldwell as his coach.

Detroit Lions safety James Ihedigbo joined the Karsch and Anderson show Tuesday morning to talk about the report.

"It's so easy to write your own opinion and then put an anonymous player at the end of it to get credibility," Ihedigbo said. "Clearly that's kind of what's done in this report, I think it's completely bogus. I don't think any players that I've talked to have come even close to sharing that thought process so yeah it's pretty easy to see it was a bogus statement."

And another thing, the video has some nice production, but why wasn't Cole mic'ed up? It also appears to me this is the first time Cole has read his own report. You can tell he is reading off something the entire time. I just don't buy this report...do you?
