Spartans Take On Indiana Hoosiers: What's At Stake?

EAST LANSING (AP) - Indiana (4-3, 0-3 Big Ten) at No. 7 Michigan State (7-0, 3-0), 3:36 p.m. Saturday.

Line: Michigan State by 16 1/2.

Series Record: Michigan State leads 44-15-2.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Michigan State will try to avoid a letdown after its thrilling victory over Michigan last weekend. The Spartans remain unbeaten and on track for a showdown with top-ranked Ohio State next month.

KEY MATCHUP

Indiana QB Nate Sudfeld vs. Michigan State's secondary. The Spartans' defensive backfield has been weakened by injuries, and that could play into Indiana's hands if Sudfeld has time to throw. Sudfeld passed for 464 yards in a 55-52 loss to Rutgers last weekend.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Indiana: WR Ricky Jones. He's been Sudfeld's top target this season, with 32 catches for 624 yards and four touchdowns.

Michigan State: QB Connor Cook. When the running game was stifled against Michigan, Cook helped the Spartans move the ball with some tough throws under pressure. He seems to be hitting his stride in his final season at Michigan State.
