Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If the tip that leads to an arrest is received by midnight of Friday’s press conference there is an additional $1,000 reward for a total of $2,000.
The 17-year-old victim was walking home from school when she was attacked and forced into the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect threatened her and led her to believe he had a gun. The incident took place on Detroit’s east side near the intersection of E. Seven Mile Rd. and Hawthorne St.
The suspect is a black male, possibly 50 years old, about 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds. He has a medium-dark complexion, dark brown eyes, low-cut neat hairstyle (salt and pepper colored), unshaven stubble on cheek area of the face (salt and pepper colored), but no beard or mustache.
