Woman Attacked In Farmington Hills: Do You Recognize This Suspect? [PHOTO]

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - Authorities are hoping the public will be able to help them identify a man wanted for attacking a woman in Farmington Hills in the middle of the night.

Police say the attack happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8 in the area of Shiawassee and Hamilton roads, located in a neighborhood near 9 Mile and Middlebelt roads.

The woman told police she was walking along Shiawassee Road when she was surprised by a man who knocked her to the ground. Police believe the suspect intended to sexually assault the victim, but she was able to fight him off and he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late thirties, approximately 6'2" tall and 170 lbs., with a skinny build and an orange-colored beard. He was wearing black pants, a dark shirt, dark-colored coat and tan work boots. He also has a chipped or missing front tooth.

Police believe the attack is an isolated incident.
