Detroit Filmmaker To Host Screening To Benefit Local Non-Profit

DETROIT - Michigan-based production company Arête Productions is screening its emotionally charged new film "BIANCA: Who Did This To You?" on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the AMC Star Southfield.

"BIANCA: Who Did This To You?" tells the story of a woman who was sexually molested at a young age by members of her church, was also physically and mentally abused by her parents, and who was beaten by her husband later in life. It is a harrowing tale that was filmed so that a conversation can begin in the community regarding subjects that are rarely discussed.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and V.I.P. festivities include food, drink, meet and greet with cast and crew, giveaways, and a live performance from American Idol Season 13 alum Malaya, whose original songs are featured in the film.

Tickets for the event can be purchased on neptix.com or by visiting facebook.com/biancathemovie. Proceeds from the film benefit SASHA Center. Several non-profit organizations have already pledged their support for the film including Saving Our Kids, Park West Foundation, and Kim Logan Communications, Inc.

The film is written, produced, and directed by Detroit native and award-winning filmmaker Randy Holloway.
