2 More Suspicious Car Fires Reported In Royal Oak

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) -- The list of suspicious fires is growing in Royal Oak.

Royal Oak Police Lt. David Clemens told WWJ Newsradio 950 that a truck and a minivan were set on fire around 5 a.m. Saturday morning. The two fires bring the city's total to nine car fires having been reported since November 23.

Investigators believe the incidents are all related and the suspects are targeting unlocked cars.

No one was injured in any of the incidents, which all occurred near Rochester Road between 13 and 14 Mile roads, usually between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. in the morning.
